THE PURPOSE OF THE MUSIC STAFF?
Using a wipe-off marker at the piano or away from it, piano teachers, students, and music composers can write music notation directly on the stand and then wipe it off when finished. The white background makes it easier to see the music staff and notation. The music staff with the white background is standard, but for the Grand Piano there is the option for a white or clear background.
